Traditionally building a website has always been about give-and-take.  You had to give up ease of use to have a custom site or you had to take a cookie cutter look to keep from having to custom code the whole thing.  It was a real pain.

But that has all changed with  ”Drag & Drop” frameworks.  No it doesn’t mean cookie cutter… unless that’s what you want.

WordPress has far outgrown it’s blogging roots to now encompass everything that a business would need in a website.  Not dependent upon tables like the Content Management System (CMS) “Joomla,” WordPress is the preferred choice when dealing with search engine giants like Google.  With no monthly fees and the ability to self host as well as the vast array of modules and plugins available, it is no wonder that Cnet gives it 5 out of 5 stars.  Not to mention all the large corporate websites that are built upon it… WSJ.com, Ford.com, Time.com — just to name a few.

                  

Pagelines Framework

 Here at Social Design Studios we have taken it upon ourselves to design quite a few websites over the years.  So when we found the style and function of Pageline’s Framework we couldn’t believe that something this advanced actually existed.  Since then we changed over our entire platform to make Pagelines the primary framework for our buildups.

How it works: we install a Pagelines Framework and then fully customize a website off of it.  The Framework act as a backbone that will allow you to go back in and make edits and posts without having to know any coding languages whatsoever.
